CHICAGO (AP) _ Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Sept. corn rose by 1.25 cents at $4.85 a bushel. Sept. wheat rose by 5.75 cents at $6.87 a bushel. Sept. oats was up 1.75 cents at $3.26 a bushel. Sept. soybeans was down 0.25 cent at $12.25 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug. live cattle was up 1.7 cents at $2.25 a pound. Aug. feeder cattle was up 1 cent at $3.36 a pound. Oct. hogs was unchanged at $.81 a pound.
