The new ride elevates the driving experience with better-than-expected handling. The Quattro AWD turns it into a sure-footed machine in all conditions. While athletic when needed, the ride is smooth and quiet on the highway.
The turbo V6 motivates the five-seat SUV smartly when mashing the pedal. The eight-speed Tiptronic transmission provides very quick shifts that are remarkably smooth.
The Q8 is the flagship for the Audi SUV/crossover line, and the interior really stands out when you choose the top prestige package and add a few more options. My Q8 came with leather everywhere.
Power seats with heat/ventilation and massage make for a very comfortable long distance cruiser. The rest of the interior was a delight with high-end finishes throughout the cabin. The Q8 only has seating for five, so if you need more space, consider the Q7.
The Audi is stuffed with the latest tech, and the interior is awash with touch screens. Even the virtual cockpit is all digital with great graphics but isn’t easy to use at first.
