Car that plunged into Potomac recovered, 2 victims found inside

WASHINGTON — A car that had crashed into the Potomac River was found with two people dead inside after a search that lasted around two hours, D.C. Fire and EMS reported. A third person from the car was rushed to the hospital earlier after the car he was in went over the rail near Roosevelt Bridge and sank into the river late Saturday evening. The crash happened around 11 p.m. along Rock Creek Parkway after the driver had lost control from speeding.
