D.C. police find missing woman, 71

UPDATE 1:20 a.m. 3/26/2015: The D.C. police say that Mary Bean has been found safe and sound.

EARLIER: WASHINGTON — The D.C. police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 71-year-old woman.

The police say Mary Bean was last seen in the 700 block of Emerson Street, in Northeast, on Wednesday.

She’s described as black; 5 feet, 4 inches tall; 100 pounds; with brown eyes and a light complexion. She was last seen wearing a blue denim hat, blue jeans, a gray waist-length wool jacket and white tennis shoes with no laces.
