WASHINGTON — An 8-year-old receiving treatment at a hospital gets a surprise courtesy of firefighters from Louisiana and D.C.
Hunter Scarborough’s dream is to be a firefighter. The little boy from Fordoche, Louisiana, is at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital to receive a small and large bowel transplant.
His friends at the fire department in Fordoche reached out to the fire department in D.C. and asked them to pay Hunter a visit.
