Man dead, two others hospitalized after Prince George Co. shooting

A shooting left a man dead and two others hospitalized early Monday morning in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

According to a news release, officers arrived to the 1700 block of Forest Park Drive in District Heights around 1:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. They found three people shot, including 20-year-old Daniel James Harris, of Lanham.



All three men were taken to the hospital but Harris died a short time after arriving. The other two victims, who police did not identify, remain hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.

Police did not release information about suspects or a motive.

Police are offering a $25,000 to anyone with information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 866-411-TIPS.
