3 injured in Frederick Co. shooting

Three people are injured following a shooting early Saturday in Frederick County, Maryland, police said. Two adult male victims are in stable condition, while a third was in surgery Saturday afternoon, according to a tweet from the Frederick County’s Sheriff Office. No names have been released at this time. The shooting happened at approximately 1:30 a.m. in Ballenger Creek, near the 6700 block of Killdeer Court, about a mile west of the Monocacy National Battlefield.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Department said they are looking for multiple suspects, but have no leads.

Frederick Co. brings mask mandate back

Frederick County, Maryland, is the latest municipality to bring back its mask mandate amid exploding COVID-19 cases. Everyone 5 and up in the county is required to mask up in public indoor spaces starting Friday at 5 p.m.
