Missing woman, girl found

UPDATE May 2, 1:22 a.m.: Both Sherri Macklin and Tatum Dixon have been found in good health.

EARLIER May 1, 11:00 p.m.:

WASHINGTON — D.C. Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman and girl from Northwest.

Sherri Macklin, 53, and Tatum Dixon, 4, were last seen Saturday afternoon at 5:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Mt. Vernon Place, NW.

Macklin is described as a black woman, 4’11 and around 110 pounds. She was medium complexion, brown eyes, and black hair that was tied in a bun. She was last seen wearing a black sweatsuit and carrying a black and tan purse.

Dixon is also black, about 3 feet tall and around 39 pounds. She also has medium complexion, brown eyes, and black hair. She was wearing a black sweatsuit as well, with a purple and teal rain coat.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these critical missing persons is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099, the Youth and Family Services Division at 202-576-6768, or 911.
