WASHINGTON — A man who was shot Wednesday night outside an apartment complex in Northeast Washington has died.

Police say the shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. along the 4200 block of East Capitol Street, near Fort Chaplin Park.

The man was found unconscious, and was rushed to a hospital where he died, police said.

Investigators have not released any information about a suspect or a motive at this time.
