WASHINGTON — A man is dead and two others are in the hospital following two separate stabbings on Monday in D.C.

The first incident happened around 4 p.m. near 8th and H streets in Northeast Washington. D.C. police found a man unconscious. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, police say.

In the second incident on Monday, police say two men were stabbed near 14th Street and Columbia Road in the Columbia Heights area. They are both in the hospital, and police say one man has been arrested.
