Police investigating four shootings in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON – Four shootings that happened over just a few hours Wednesday night are under investigation in Southeast D.C.

The first shooting happened  before 9 p.m. in the area of 15th and V streets, Southeast, and was soon followed by a shooting at the intersection of 34th and Croffut Place, Southeast.

A third shooting then happened on Alabama Avenue and Good Hope Road. A fourth shooting occurred along Eaton Road near Firth Sterling Avenue, not far from the Anacostia Metro station.

Police have not yet released any additional details about the shootings, or said if they were connected.
