D.C. police make arrests in 2 shootings

WASHINGTON — The D.C. police have made arrests in two recent District shootings.

On Thursday morning, Tony Thomas, 45, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with assault with intent to kill (gun) in a shooting on Franklin Street NE last Dec. 28.

And on Wednesday evening, Antonio Carr, 19, of Northeast D.C., was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) in a shooting on Bladensburg Road NE on Feb. 27.
