Man shot to death in NE D.C. apartment

WASHINGTON – Police are searching for more information after a man was found shot to death in a D.C. apartment early Monday morning.

D.C. police say a call came in at about 12:15 a.m. about a shooting at an apartment building in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road in Northeast D.C.

When police arrived, they found Marcus McClam, 29, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with several gunshot wounds to the chest. He was pronounced dead on the scene. There was no one else in the apartment.

Police are still investigating. At this point, suspect descriptions are vague.
