‘Piece’ of mind: Thimble returning to Monopoly

Monopoly’s nimble thimble token — banished to the board game graveyard alongside the wheelbarrow and boot in 2017 — is coming back.

Rhode Island-based Hasbro said the thimble got 30% of the vote in its “Throwback Token Vote” campaign.

The T-Rex is headed for extinction after getting the most votes to be fossilized.

Hasbro’s “refresh” of Monopoly will hit shelves this fall in the U.S. and Amazon. The tokens in the refresh will be the thimble, Scottie, battleship, race car, top hat, penguin, Hazel and rubber ducky.

If you’re still a T-Rex fan, you can pick up an existing version of the game on Amazon.

A year ago, the icon game replaced 16 of the game’s cards to better reflect what community means to people.

Some Tupac Shakur family members step out of courtroom while others stay to face autopsy photos

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Some members of Tupac Shakur's family stepped out of the courtroom Tuesday before prosecutors showed photos from his autopsy at the Las Vegas trial of the man charged in the killing of the rap giant. Others remained in the courtroom to face the grim facts of what happened to his body. The grisly photos came on the second day of testimony in the trial of 63-year-old Duane “Keffe D” Davis, who is charged with orchestrating the 1996 drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He has pleaded not guilty and his lawyer in opening statements called the prosecution's narrative “fiction.” Dr. Lisa Gavin, a forensic pathologist and medical examiner for Clark County, Nevada, described Shakur's injuries and explained his cause of death. Jurors were shown photos of his body. Some relatives who remained in the courtroom looked away.
