ATLANTA (AP) — Right-hander Erasmo Ramirez has been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma to start for Seattle against the Braves.

Infielder Nick Franklin was optioned to Tacoma before Tuesday night’s game in Atlanta, clearing a roster spot for Ramirez.

The 24-year-old Ramirez will make his seventh start for the Mariners this season. He is 1-4 with a 6.00 ERA and made his last appearance for Seattle on May 7 at Oakland.

Ramirez was 1-3 with a 4.55 ERA in five starts with Tacoma.

Franklin hit .129 in 31 at-bats with Seattle since his recall from Tacoma on May 20.
