Georgetown Pike reopens after dump truck overturns

WASHINGTON — A dump truck filled with asphalt overturned Tuesday morning on Georgetown Pike in Great Falls, Virginia, shutting the road down during the early morning commute. Georgetown Pike was closed between Utterback Store Road and Springvale Road, but reopened shortly before 7 a.m. Crews will go back after the morning commute to clean up the spilled asphalt.
