NEW YORK (AP) — Paige Faure will trade one Broadway show for another next month when she leaves “Bullets Over Broadway” and take over the role of Cinderella from pop star Carly Rae Jepsen.

Producers said Tuesday that Faure slips into “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella” on June 13 and will be joined on June 30 by Tony Award-nominee Nancy Opel as the wicked stepmother, taking over from Fran Drescher.

Faure, a member of the “Bullets Over Broadway” ensemble and an understudy for Betsy Wolfe’s role of Ellen, previously played Cinderella and was in the last revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”

Opel recently appeared on Broadway in the Tony-winning musical “Memphis,” ”Fiddler on the Roof” and “Urinetown.”

Faure and Opel will star on Broadway through Sept. 7.
