49ers sign CB Kenneth Acker

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers have signed sixth-round cornerback Kenneth Acker of SMU to a four-year deal.

The team announced the deal Friday.

Acker was selected by the 49ers with the 180th overall pick. He had seven interceptions and 29 passes defensed in 46 college games. He was also a second-team All-American Athletic Conference pick last season.
