Coast Guard Atlantic Area gets new chief

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (AP) — The Coast Guard’s Atlantic Area has a new command master chief.

Master Chief Petty Officer Charles “Rob” Bushey has taken over the position as the senior enlisted adviser to Coast Guard leadership. He succeeds Master Chief Petty Officer Steven W. Cantrell, who is moving to the nation’s capital to become master chief petty officer of the Coast Guard.

A change of the watch ceremony was held in Portsmouth on Wednesday to make the transfer of authority official.
