CAIRO (AP) — The Congo stadium where 15 people were killed in a stampede at a domestic league game will host an Africa Champions League match just a week after the disaster.

The Confederation of African Football says Tata Raphael Stadium in Kinshasa remains the venue for Sunday’s continental club competition group game between AS Vita and Egypt’s Zamalek. The crowd will be limited to 5,000 in a stadium with a capacity of 30,000.

At least 15 people were killed and 21 injured last Sunday when police used tear gas after the crowd became unruly, causing a stampede. The federation said a wall and a gate collapsed in the crush.

AS Vita was playing TP Mazembe on the last day of the Congolese league season.

In 1974, Tata Raphael Stadium hosted the Muhammad Ali-George Foreman heavyweight title fight — “The Rumble in the Jungle.” It was then called 20th of May Stadium, and Congo was known as Zaire.
