(Update at 2:15 p.m.) Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services is on the scene of a traffic collision involving a school bus on River Road at Seven Locks Road.

According to spokesperson Pete Piringer, 19 children on the bus and one adult have minor injuries. All 19 children are being taken to Children’s Hospital via a medical ambulance bus.

The accident happened at about 1:45 p.m. on eastbound River Road. The bus and two cars involved have been moved to the right side of the road.
