Jonathan Kellerman signs on for 2 new thrillers

NEW YORK (AP) — Jonathan Kellerman’s next set of thrillers will be mystical tales set in wondrous locations.

Kellerman and his son, Jesse Kellerman, have a deal with G.P. Putnam’s Sons for a pair of novels they will collaborate on.

The first, “The Golem of Hollywood,” is scheduled for Sept. 16. The sequel, “The Golem of Paris,” will be out a year later. The protagonist is a “burnt-out” Los Angeles homicide detective who embarks on a murder case that will take him around the world.

Jonathan Kellerman is a psychologist known for such best-selling novels as “Survival of the Fittest” and “Monster” that feature fictional psychologist Alex Delaware.
