Mountaineers guard Terry Henderson transferring

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia coach Bob Huggins says guard Terry Henderson is transferring.

Henderson, a rising junior from Raleigh, North Carolina, played in 28 games and averaged 11.7 points per game last season. Huggins did not say why Henderson is leaving.

Henderson is the second West Virginia guard to transfer this spring. Eron Harris, who averaged 17.2 points per game, said in March that he is leaving to be closer to his family in Indianapolis.
