Four adults, two infants injured in Anne Arundel crash

WASHINGTON — Anne Arundel, Md., fire department officials say a three-car accident on Virginia Avenue near Solomon’s Island Road sent six people to the hospital, two of them infants, on Saturday night.

The story is still developing, but a fire spokesman tells WTOP that a 45-year-old woman was transported to the hospital by helicopter. A 30-year old women, a six- month-old, and a four-month-old were transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore with “serious, non-life threatening injuries.”

In addition, a 50-year-old woman was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries, and another 30-year-old woman was also transferred to hospital with minor injuries.

Officials say one of the cars involved in the crash had flipped over. No additional details are available at this time.
