Grace Oughton Cancer Foundation

The Grace Oughton Cancer Foundation was established in 2006, originally to support the Oughton family as their daughter Grace fought a rare form of pediatric cancer. While Grace’s valiant fight against Neuroblastoma ended in October of 2007, the dream to help other children fighting cancer did not die. The Grace Oughton Cancer Foundation works tirelessly to provide support to local families. The GOCF currently offers bereavement support groups for children & teens who have lost a sibling to illness or trauma, assistance grants to help with the financial burden faced by families fighting pediatric cancer, support groups for kids & teens who have a sibling with a life-altering illness, support groups for parents that have lost a child to illness or trauma, educational initiatives to improve local clinical knowledge & services, and research grants for innovative researchers looking to find cures for rare forms of pediatric cancer. We are also focused on developing a full-service pediatric clinic here in our region, which will begin its infancy this year with the introduction of our mobile lab. The Grace Oughton Cancer Foundation is committed to use every dollar wisely to best serve families struggling with the battle against childhood cancer.
