WASHINGTON — The family of 36-year-old Lizeth Yadira Lopez was planning to hold a party next month to celebrate her recent graduation from University of Maryland — now her loved ones and police are trying to determine why Lopez mysteriously disappeared. Prince William County, Virginia, police have released surveillance video of the woman who has been missing for over a week. “I’m sure somebody took her,” Janette Lopez, Lizeth’s sister, told NBC Washington. “Somebody did, because she wouldn’t just disappear like that — she’s a very responsible person. Lizeth Lopez was reported missing on April 19 to the Alexandria City Police Department, but after her vehicle was found near her place of employment in Woodbridge the next day, the case was turned over to Prince William County police. “I really miss her,” Janette Lopez said, tearfully. “My family misses her.” Police say Lopez left a CVS Pharmacy store on Touchstone Circle around 9 p.m. on April 17. There has been no known contact with her since about 10 p.m. that night.

Lopez is described as a 5-foot-4 Hispanic woman weighing about 118 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on her left shoulder.
