Women exiting accident gets hit by another car, suffers serious injuries

WASHINGTON — A two-car crash in Chevy Chase last night ended with three people in the hospital, including a woman with potentially life threatening injuries.

According to Montgomery Fire and Rescue, two cars collided at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Jones Bridge Road around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

When a woman got out of one of the cars, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue says she was hit by a third car driving past the scene.  She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.  Two other people involved in the initial collision were also taken to the hospital.
