WASHINGTON – For such a fan of musical theater, John Travolta apparently isn’t familiar with the star of the blockbuster Broadway shows “Wicked,” Idina Menzel.

The star, who has guest-starred on “Glee” and was part of the cast of “Rent,” recorded the Oscar-winning song from the hit Disney move “Frozen,” which she performed during Sunday’s telecast.

But except for Broadway fans, no one would have known who was signing because Travolta gave Menzel a very different moniker while introducing her.
