Man found dead along I-395 in Fairfax Co.

WASHINGTON — Virginia State Police are investigating the death of a man found near Interstate 395 south of Exit 2 in Fairfax County.

Police received a call at 10:12 a.m. Friday from a passer-by who saw what looked like a person lying in the grass along the highway.

State police and Fairfax County EMS responded to the call, where they found the man dead at the scene.

The victim’s remains have been sent to the Manassas Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy and identification.

The incident remains under investigation.

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
