3-alarm blaze destroys townhouses in Prince George’s Co.

WASHINGTON — Firefighters have controlled a three-alarm fire in Brandywine, Maryland, but not before it destroyed four townhouses early Thursday morning.

The fire is in the 7000 block of Chadds Ford Drive, the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department says. Chief Marc Bashoor says on Twitter that four units were destroyed.

Spokesman Mark Brady says all the occupants of the houses are accounted for.
