Light Snow Possible For Tuesday

Projected snow totals for DC region, via National Weather ServiceA storm system to the south has moved north enough that Bethesda and Chevy Chase could catch a dusting later Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service:

“Late morning update: Guidance has shifted slightly north and west. Winter weather advisory for Calvert and St. Marys counties 5pm through tonight. 2-5 inches of snow expected for lower southern Maryland. The one inch line is right near I-95, more east and less west of this line. One exception is some areas of central Virginia, including Charlottesville, could also see an inch. Please pay attention for further updates.”

Look for a possible Hazardous Weather Outlook later.

Meanwhile, the Wind Chill Advisory for the area has expired. Temperatures still remain around 15 degrees.
