D.C. auto show shines spotlight on latest in car tech

WASHINGTON – Does the Washington area’s recent stretch of inclement weather have you thinking you need a four-wheel drive?

You won’t have to hop from dealership to dealership in the bitter cold to check one out. All cars are in one place this weekend at The Washington Auto Show at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

New cars and concept vehicles combine with events and celebrities. The very latest in thinking, technology, design, innovation, alternative fuel solutions, automotive safety and state-of-the-art prototypes are all displayed, according to event organizers.

The Auto Show runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.daily from Jan.23 through Feb. 2, 2014. The Auto Show’s website has a full schedule of events.
