Apparent Accident Leaves Worker With Life Threatening Injuries

Construction worker suffered life threatening injuries at a Bethesda home construction project on FridayAn apparent construction accident left a worker at a Bethesda home project with serious, life-threatening injuries on Friday.

MCFRS Assistant Chief Scott Graham said a worker fell off some scaffolding at a home construction project in the 9500 block of Montgomery Drive, near Beech Avenue in the Maplewood neighborhood. The incident happened around noon.

The man was rushed to a local trauma center after the fall.

Graham also said OSEA officials will be on scene and lead the investigation.
