Man struck by vehicle in Rosslyn dies

WASHINGTON – A man is dead after a serious crash in Rosslyn Friday morning.

A man in his 20s was walking near the Key Bridge at about 3 a.m. when he was hit by car. He died after he was struck, according to police.

Emergency crews transported the driver, who remained at the scene following the crash, to an area hospital. Officials have not released information about the driver’s condition.

The normally busy roads around the scene were closed to traffic for several hours.

Officials are investigating the crash and have not yet released the man’s name.
