Arrest warrant issued for Naylor Road metro robbery suspect

WASHINGTON – Metro Transit Police have identified a suspect in connection with a possible kidnapping and armed robbery that occurred at the Naylor Road metro station Dec. 20.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for 21-year-old Timothy Pernell Williams.

Police say the suspect took the victim by train from the Naylor Road metro station to the Waterfront metro station and forced him to withdraw money from several ATMs. The victim was then returned back to the Naylor Road station, uninjured. The suspect escaped.

Anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Metro Transit Police Detectives at (202) 962-2121 and reference case No. #2013-62605.
