Obenshain to concede, Post reports

WASHINGTON – Republican Mark Obenshain is going to concede Wednesday in the Virginia Attorney General’s race, The Washington Post reports.

Democrat Mark Herring has widened his lead to hundreds of votes after two and a half days of the recount.

He had been declared the winner after the election by just 165 votes of 2.2 million cast.

Obenshain plans to hold a 3 p.m. news conference in Richmond.
