$25K reward offered in fatal Connecticut Ave. stabbing

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a fatal stabbing on Connecticut Avenue in Northwest D.C. on Monday.

Shortly after 2 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Connecticut where a disorderly fight was reported, according to a Metropolitan Police Department news release. Officers found 22-year-old Sephar Jean-Simon, of Silver Spring, unconscious and suffering from a stab wound, the release states. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A $25,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
