Some flights canceled at Dulles and Reagan National

WASHINGTON — The region’s airports are keeping a close eye on the morning’s freezing rain, and Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National have announced some flight cancellations for Monday morning.

The flight delays are primarily the result of weather in other cities, according to Rob Yingling, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.

“Our airfields are in good condition with surface temps above freezing,” he says.

No flight delays have been reported at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

Yingling recommends calling your airline to confirm your flight.
