‘Cops’ episode featuring Md. police department airs Monday night

WASHINGTON — A local police officer will be getting some TV time when a new episode of “Cops” airs on Monday night.

A 10-year veteran of the Anne Arundel County Police Department will be featured in a segment titled “The Milk Thief” that was recorded last summer, the Capital Gazette reports.

The segment centers around Cpl. Tommy Smith responding to a domestic disturbance in which two roommates fight over who drank the last of the milk (seen in the above preview video around the: 10 mark).

The episode, “Crying Over Spilled Milk,” will air 8 p.m. Monday on Spike TV.
