Fairfax police seek critical missing woman

WASHINGTON — Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, are asking for help finding a critical missing 22-year-old woman.

Police say Sarah Waye was last seen around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 9500 block of Canonbury Square, near Vaden Drive off Lee Highway.

Waye was driving a black 2009 Toyota Yaris with Virginia license plates VBM-9104, police say. There are several bumper stickers on the rear of the vehicle.

Waye is described as standing 5-feet-3-inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with brown hair that is dyed purple, and green eyes.

Police say she has been treated for a mental health condition, and her family is concerned for her welfare.

Super Pet Expo offers its first in-person event in Virginia since pandemic began

A Virginia pet expo running through Sunday is hoping to help those who recently got new pets to find what they need. Eric Udler, producer of the Super Pet Expo at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, said that there has been a significant increase in pets being adopted with so many people working from home.
