Part of University Boulevard in Montgomery Co. to be closed Tuesday for paving

WASHINGTON — University Boulevard in Montgomery County, Maryland, is open to traffic for the Tuesday morning commute after a water main break. Part of the road was blocked Monday between Piney Branch Road and Carroll Avenue, and two eastbound lanes will be closed at 9 a.m. on Tuesday for paving. Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) crews were on the scene working to repair the break. WSSC says no customers were without water. The broken pipe is 88 years old.
