Employee quits job in dance video, company responds

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) – “I Quit” — said in a most creative way.

University of Missouri journalism grad Marina Shifrin has resigned from her job with a dance video for her boss. The Kansas City Star reports the video has gone viral on YouTube.

Shifrin worked for Next Media Animation, which produces satirical news and entertainment stories. The video shows her still at work at 4:30 a.m., dancing to Kanye West’s “Gone.”

Shifrin explains that she’s sacrificed her relationships, time and energy for the job. She turns out the lights as she leaves the office. Her “I Quit” video had more than seven million YouTube views as of last night.
