‘Come Back To Bethesda’ Raising Funds For Children’s Inn

Children's Inn at NIH The 23rd Annual Come Back to Bethesda fundraiser will again accompany the Taste of Bethesda on Saturday, Oct. 5 on Wisconsin Avenue.

The event, at Chevy Chase Acura (7725 Wisconsin Ave.), will be on from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. just up the street from Woodmont Triangle and the Taste.

It won’t be hard to miss.

Come Back to Bethesda brings out a big display of vintage, classic and custom cars in the dealership show room. Kids from the Children’s Inn will judge a “Kid’s Choice” award for best ride and one car owner will get a cash prise for “Best in Show.”

Registration for a car, truck or motorcycle at the show costs $15 until Thursday, Oct. 3 or $20 at the show.

Also at the event, Bethesda dance studio Joy of Motion will showcase Groove Elements at 2:45-3 p.m. in front of The Children’s Inn stage on Cheltenham Road. Steve Eckstrom’s local band “Almost Blue,” will perform throughout the day on the main stage.

Suburban Hospital will also a flu shot clinic.

The fundraiser benefits the 59 families staying at The Children’s Inn at NIH, the no-cost residences for NIH patients and their families who come from across the country.
