WASHINGTON – You’ve probably heard or said the phrase, “What do guys want?”
When it comes to clothes, the answer may be unexpected.
Redbook asked a bunch of guys to describe the outfit they secretly hope a woman will wear.
While a lot of women figure a guy would want miniskirts, low-cut tops, lots of skin… and miniskirts, the men’s wish list was a bit more sensible.
Jeans and a tank top — Low-maintenance, sexy, the guys would appreciate a pair of knee-high boots, please.
The librarian look — A hip-hugging skirt with a tucked-in shirt. Prim and proper, at least for now. Sort of like the “Hot For Teacher” vibe, updated (and without David Lee Roth).
A cocktail dress — Little black dress. Period.
A fitted sports jersey — Some guys can’t get sports of their minds. Apparently the couple that plays together, uh, plays together.
Yoga gear — Sorry, ladies, not those old cotton sweat pants. Guys are thinking along the lines of stretchy and sporty.
