New fields vandalized at Fairfax County high school (Video)

WASHINGTON – New turf fields at a Fairfax County high school were vandalized over the weekend with spray-painted obscenities.

ABC7 reports two fields at South Lakes High School in Reston were painted with profanity, sexual images and obscene versions of the Seahawk name. The Seahawk is the school’s mascot.

The two fields cost about $1.4 million to put in over the summer, ABC7 says, and much of the funding was raised by the community.
