Civilian Military Medical Workers Leave Because Of Spending Cuts, Furloughs — Almost 3,400 military medical workers quit for other jobs this year because of low morale and government furloughs. In the Army, one out of every 20 civilian medical doctors, nurses or other health workers left for other jobs. The furloughs hit Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda. [USA Today]
