In a move to improve collaboration with its defense and intelligence customer base, TerraGo has relocated its headquarters from Atlanta to its existing office in Arlington, the software solutions firm announced Tuesday.

The small business, which has less than 100 employees worldwide, has also appointed a new chief executive. Chris Broderick, a software industry veteran with more than fifteen years of executive leadership experience, will replace Rick Cobb. Cobb has resigned from the company, but has not announced where he is headed. A company spokesperson says Cobb will help with the transition.

Spokesperson Renee Wagner added that TerraGo is exploring other real estate options in Northern Virginia. Whether any employees will relocate from Atlanta to Greater Washington, “remains to be determined,” she says.

Broderick most recently was the CEO of GroupLogic, which was acquired by Acronis in 2012.

TerraGo’s headquarters is located at 2111 Wilson Blvd., housing less than 20 employees. The company will maintain its existing offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Scotland.
