Nina McLemore, the D.C.-based designer with 11 other stores, opened the shop in the Shops At Wisconsin Place (5310 Western Ave.) last week.

The store describes its products as “elegant women’s apparel for professionals and women who are leaders in their community.” McLemore boasts “CEO’s of Fortune 100 companies, senior government officials, prominent lawyers, entrepreneurs and corporate executives,” as her clients.

It’s the second niche upscale women’s clothing store to open this month in Chevy Chase.

McLemore chose Chevy Chase for her flagship store because of its reputation for high-end shopping and her existing client base in the area.
