WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police have found a woman who had been missing since Monday.

Police say Laura D. McIntyre, 42, was found alive and well and that her disappearance was voluntary.

McIntyre had last been seen leaving her Springfield, Va., home on Cather Road Monday at about 9 p.m. She was thought to be headed to her job in the Herndon area, but hadn’t been heard from or seen.
