Max Brenner Won’t Open This Week — The Bethesda Row chocolate eatery won’t open this week as the company had hoped, according to a spokesperson. Work is still ongoing inside the location at 7263 Woodmont Ave. No opening date was given.

Does Student Hopefulness Mean Better Performing Students? — Much has been made about recently released results of a MCPS survey that asked students how happy and engaged they are in school. Superintendent Dr. Joshua Starr has said it should be the school system’s goal to ensure good emotional health for its students.
